Flytrippers’ Interview With CTV About Swoop, Canada’s New Ultra Low-Cost Carrier


As Canada’s Ultra Low-Cost Travel experts, we were on Swoop’s inaugural flight a few weeks ago and it was a very exciting experience. Here is the video of our interview with CTV to explain the Ultra Low-Cost Carrier Model.

We have been spotting great flight deals from 9 Canadian cities for a while now and with Canada finally getting Ultra Low-Cost Carriers (ULCCs), we expect we’ll have a lot more great deals and low prices to share with you… to help you travel more!

  1. I could not tell from the pictures how much leg room there is. I am not a tall person, but on some low cost flights my legs are very cramped. How much leg room is there in the regular seats compared to a regular Westjet flight.

    1. 29 or 30 inches between seats, which is 1 or 2 inches less than on WestJet (31 inches), so it is tighter but barely noticeable honestly. 1 or 2 inches isn’t that much 🙂
